Emirates NBD, the leading Banking Group in the MENAT region, was formed on 19 June 1963, when H.H. Late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum signed the Charter of Incorporation of the National Bank of Dubai (NBD) which became the first National Bank established in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). JOB PURPOSE

As a Wealth Advisor, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). You will provide tailored financial advice, and wealth planning services to help clients grow, preserve, and transfer their wealth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning

  • Create comprehensive financial plans that address clients’ short-term and long-term financial.
  • Analyze clients’ current financial situation and recommend investment strategies that align with their objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to provide timely and relevant advice.

Investment Management

  • Design and manage customized investment portfolios for clients, considering their risk tolerance and investment horizon.
  • Monitor and review portfolio performance, making adjustments as necessary to optimize returns and manage risk.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with HNW clients.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Provide ongoing, proactive communication and updates on clients’ portfolios and financial plans.

Business Development

  • Cross-sell and up-sell financial products and services to existing clients to deepen relationships and enhance value.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet individual and team revenue goals.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all client interactions and financial plans adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, financial plans, and investment portfolios.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education / Certifications
    – MBA in Finance or Bachelor’s degree in finance or other relevant majors.
    – ICWM / UAE Regulations (must-have)
  • Experiences
    – Minimum 3 years of similar experience in other banks or wealth management institutions.
    – Experience in Sales and Business Development.
    – Experience in investment product management of at least 3 years.
    – Experience across a wide range of Banking areas, e.g. Retail, wealth management.
  • Knowledge & Skills
    – Supervisory ability and experience; effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
    – Excellent communication and presentation skills interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
    – Fluency in English is a must. Arabic is an advantage.
