Job title: Supply Chain Operation Lead

About the job

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and reinforce Supply chain operational management, Change Management by ensuring Financial Planning, enhance IBP process and is constantly improving to support the achievement of business, financial, customer and cost objectives reaching the aim to be the Core process in operations management.
  • Ensure effective and efficient solid performance management of Forecasting, Agents Stocks monitoring and tracking through SISO and SIT processes, improving Service Level, decreasing Obsolescence, and optimizing demand consensus Greater Gulf MCO countries.
  • Work collaboratively with demand planning team and region Supply Chain for achieving business and supply-chain management objectives through stocks management, demand planning and mitigating the IA constraints.

Accountabilities

FORECAST:

  • Responsible for leading and optimizing forecasting performance of Greater Gulf MCO countries through robust validation monthly meetings with BU markets, Finance and TRM covering below:
  • Challenge markets / BUs on unjustified forecast change outside product performance trend.
  • Focus on repeated main offenders to gather market insights.
  • Attention to forecast of products with production limitations and with 24 months SL (MOQ, Plant delay, No frequent production).
  • Implement Statistical forecasting.
  • Focusing on big tenders phasing and coverage to avoid penalties.
  • Review Forecast Performance KPIs and align on improving action plans.
  • Reach a consensus demand plan through collaboration with BU markets.

OBSOLESCENCE:

  • Prepare and Analyse monthly Obsolescence process to assess risks in the scope of end-to-end stocks status and define action plan to optimize inventory levels & minimize Returns/Destructions collaboratively with finance, demand planning team and BU markets teams.

SISO & SIT:

  • Prepare and Analyse monthly SISO review through sales and stocks reconciliation with SIT monitor and tender delivery tracking in collaboration with Finance, BOP and TRM.

DEMAND MANAGEMENT:

  • Review demand and supply scenarios, identify risks / gaps, develop recommendations, and assess financial impact (YTD actual vs. plan)
  • Arbitrate with demand planning team, TRM, Finance, BUs and Customer Service to develop consensus on Sales-In.
  • Defining and evaluating the best mitigation strategies and allocation rules coordinating with demand planning team to expedite replenishment requirements as per business needs while identifying the constraints and opportunities at IA side.
  • Improve Customer centricity, product availability and optimize inventory by improving reliability and anticipation of demand signal.

BUSINESS PARTNERING:

  • Facilitate and support S&OP Leads in Supply Chain organization in relevant reporting, business visibility and performance optimization.
  • Partner with Supply HUBs, Commercial, Finance, TRM and Customer Service to improve top-line revenue through Demand Optimization and bottom-line profitability through better use of supply resources (Retail/LPOs/Tenders)
  • Support end-to-end integration of product value chain, ensuring consistency of decision and a strong link between strategic, tactical and operational levels.
  • Contribute to simplify our operating model, by implementing standardized Core processes.

IBP

  • Strengthen process to become business core management forum.
  • Facilitate the IBP executive reviews with Greater GULF MCO management to seek arbitration / decisions, where needed and develop clear action plans RACI in the scope of:
  • Gulf Forecast and SC Performance KPIs.
  • Demand supply matching analysis output.
  • SISO outputs.
  • Obsolescence outputs.
  • Products portfolio update.
  • Financial demand evolution versus budget.
  • Risks and Opportunities highlights.
  • Work closely with Finance, TRM, BU Heads, Markets BUs teams and Regulatory for IBP process sustainability and foster monitoring and facilitating the collection and updating of data.
  • Ensure IBP Forecast and data are used as a common platform between Finance, TRM, BUs, BOPs & Supply Chain.
  • Foster GBU business value creation, providing end-to-end vision through IBP
  • Support in implementation of region and global Supply Chain IBP initiatives within GULF.

Change Management

  • Drive a mind set for change management with “ONE business plan” across functions.
  • Support Change Management amongst all stakeholders within Finance, BUs, TRM, Supply Chain, HUBs, Regulatory & General Management by highlighting impact of IBP on short, mid & long-term business moving further to IBP.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with S&OP Lead to ensure adaptation to business fluctuations and strategic initiatives to collectively achieve targets and smoothen change management.

About you

  • Experience: Experience in Supply Chain Management, Commercial organization, Lean Management or Sales & Marketing in a complex environment. Very good understanding of overall company processes, corporate culture & organization structure (Finance, Supply Chain, TRM, BOP, BUs, IA …). Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry experience preferred.
  • Soft skills: Leadership skills, Lead change management, Negotiation and influencing skills, Business acumen, Analytical skills, Communication skills and Planning and organizing.
  • Technical skills: System knowledge (SAP, Kinexis, QlikSense,Power BI, MS Office)
  • Project Management.
  • Education: Bachelor degree in business, logistics or engineering.
  • Languages: English full professional proficiency. Arabic & French is a plus
