EN – JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION PURPOSE:
Modernize Sephora Supply Chain’s capabilities by suing advanced analytics and implementing data-driven solutions that boost performance. Support the execution of Sephora’s S&OP process by providing accurate and actionable data insights that enable effective decision-making across key business functions and translate into better demand planning and inventory management. Project lead initiatives related to Supply Chain Performance Management, ensuring alignment with the S&OP and Data Analytics Manager’s vision.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Build and Develop Supply Chain Analytics
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to demand planning, inventory levels, and supply chain performance.
- Leverage data visualization tools such as Power BI to build, maintain and improve dashboards to visualize KPIs (e.g., fill rate, stock availability, forecast accuracy).
- Identify opportunities for improvement in Supply Chain processes through data-driven recommendations.
Enable Effective S&OP Process Through Data Insights
- Collaborate with the S&OP Manager to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of data for monthly demand and supply review meetings.
- Assist in scenario planning to address supply chain challenges and business risks.
Support Demand Planning Alignment
- Assist in analyzing historical trends and market data to refine forecasts.
- Support the integration of demand planning data into the S&OP cycle.
Support Inventory Management
- Track and monitor stock levels across categories, brands, and channels.
- Provide input on replenishment strategies to optimize inventory levels while minimizing obsolescence.
Structure Supply Chain Performance Management
- Develop Sephora’s Supply Chain Performance Management framework and cockpit.
- Standardize KPIs and dashboards to ensure consistent measurement of performance.
- Be the reference for the definition of KPIs and guarantee their uniformity and understanding across departments.
Project Management
- Support Supply Chain departments transversally on projects related to Data Analytics and performance improvement.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, Demand & Supply Planning, or a related field, preferably in FMCG, Beauty, or Retail industries.
- Exposure to S&OP processes and Demand Planning tools is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, RELEX) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of statistical tools or Demand Planning software is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
