About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate new business opportunities for Ansys Engineering Simulation Software across the Middle East & North Africa. The SDR will be responsible for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and setting up meetings for the sales team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in outbound calling and inbound lead qualification, with prior experience in B2B software sales across diverse market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential customers through various prospecting tools.
- Conduct cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach to engage with engineering and technical decision-makers.
- Qualify leads using BANT or MEDDIC frameworks and set up meetings with BDMs and Sales team.
- Maintain accurate lead data and pipeline information in the CRM – Salesforce.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to improve lead generation efforts.
- Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly activity and performance KPIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in outbound calling and inbound qualification for B2B Technical Software sales, preferably in Engineering Simulation Software.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of engineering software sales is highly preferred.
- Prior B2B sales experience is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software is preferred.
