Property Management Officer

Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of properties, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards and meet tenant expectations.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants, maximizing occupancy rates.
  • Conduct regular property inspections, identifying maintenance needs and coordinating timely repairs to enhance tenant satisfaction.
  • Manage tenant relations, addressing concerns and resolving disputes promptly to foster a positive community atmosphere.
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, tracking expenses and income to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Coordinate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of property operations, financial transactions, and tenant communications for transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to negotiate service agreements that ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about market trends and property values, providing strategic insights to property owners for informed decision-making.
  • Lead a team of maintenance and administrative staff, providing training and support to enhance overall property management effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a similar role, with a proven track record in managing residential or commercial properties.
  • Proficiency in property management software and tools, enhancing operational efficiency and tenant communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with tenants, vendors, and property owners, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Knowledge of local property laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
  • Physical ability to conduct property inspections and oversee maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring hands-on involvement where necessary.
