Procurement Coordinator

Job Description

Recruiting a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as a Procurement Coordinator who will be reporting to the Procurement Manager. This role is responsible for planning, managing and implementing the procurement processes for the material purchase for the whole organization, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery. liaise with vendors, establishing strong working relationships and comparing materials prices to pursue the most competitive offers in line with business objectives

Essential Functions:

  • Early involved in all indirect material purchases requirements
  • Proactively coordinate with different stakeholders to understand their detailed procurement requirement and provide information regarding the vendor’s products, services, and rates
  • Manage in all stages of material procurement process and work cross-functionally with all internal and external teams
  • Negotiate with suppliers for best volume, price, and payment schemes
  • Select suppliers based on total cost of ownership (TOCO)
  • Assist in the development and update of procurement standards and guidelines and manuals
  • Work within Procurement Department guidelines to establish and maintain a list of “Preferred” vendors and work to build and maintain framework agreements with these vendors
  • Managing the process of development of the Request for Proposals (RFPs), request for Information (RFI), request for Quotation (RFQ) and ensure requirements are well defined and optimized in order to provide accurate information to the vendors
  • Assist in managing/controlling the procurement operations, workflow, and coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure that the goods/services are provided and implemented effectively, and goods are delivered as per the agreements and in a timely manner
  • Address in a timely manner the clearance of supplier invoice holds
  • Assist in managing the procurement contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letters of Intent (LOI), and Letters of Acceptance (LOA).
  • Work closely with suppliers on KPIs
  • Responsible for timely POs to suppliers and materail availability
  • Ensuring accurate dates in SAP on purchase orders
  • Assist in managing the resolution of issues with respect to procurement procedures (such as payment-related disputes, and tracking of purchased items with service providers)
  • Assist in preparing the periodic reports/newsletters of procurement performance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or any relevant degree

Years & Area of Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a procurement officer or in a similar role

Technical Knowledge: Supply chain knowledge (Qualification / experience), SAP ERP & Microsoft Office

Soft Skills: Time management, Solution oriented approach, Agile, Teamplayer, detail oriented
