Officer – Procurement Data Management

Job Description

Primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy, management, and validation of procurement data within NMC, including creation and maintenance of supplier and item master data in Oracle Fusion. Ensures timely responses to requests and compliance with defined processes, while improving data management processes and supporting procurement operations.

Responsibilities

  • Verify documents and validate data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Follow up with requestors to obtain missing documents or information
  • Create and maintain Supplier and Item Masters in Oracle Fusion
  • Process Item and Supplier Change Requests in Oracle
  • Update attributes, including site assignments, HIS fields, and pricing
  • Manage Price Master maintenance and Business Purchase Agreement (BPA) creation
  • Upload data using FBDI templates
  • Update Free of Charge (FOC) and Rebate information
  • Track requisitions and follow up with approvers to ensure timely processing
  • Resolve queries from suppliers and address audit-related inquiries
  • Maintain proper documentation for procurement data management
  • Conceptualize process improvements and standardization within data management
  • Ensure all post-approval activities are completed in a timely manner, including site assignment and payment terms
  • Replace expired information and update data as needed
  • Respond promptly to queries from units and ensure adherence to defined processes

Qualifications

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business Administration, supply chain management or related fields.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data management processes
  • Proficiency with Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge sharing and team collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Experience:

  • 2-5 years experiences in data management, data warehouse, or related field, Healthcare experience in UAE will be an advantage
