Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Material Inspector to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Demolition of transportation facilities (roads, streets etc.)
  • Construction of roads, and other associated improvements (curb and gutter, street, sidewalk, landscaping)
  • Drainage work, potable water, storm water, compliance with authority requirements
  • Installation of electrical equipment related to street lighting
  • Irrigation and planting
  • Installation on temporary and permanent signs and delineation
  • Installation of mechanical equipment
  • Building and facility construction and associated site development
  • Taking project photographs on a daily basis and filing them
  • Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract
  • Verifies that only approved materials are incorporated in the work.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • At least 3 Years Diploma/Associate Degree in Civil Engineering / Geology or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience on road works, bridges and infrastructure projects.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
  • Must have previous experience in ADQCC Laboratory Approval.
