Manager – Digital Marketing

The Job

Designing and implementing digital strategy as part of the organization’s broader business and marketing & communication plans, leading demand creation and building affinity. Responsible for developing, managing the entire digital ecosystem – online, social media, CRM & e-commerce marketing activities of the Group.

Job Description

  • Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, display advertising & performance marketing
  • Overseeing management of all digital channels i.e., website(s) (including updates, design, user experience, and content)
  • Strategizing and overseeing social media presence across all existing channels & exploring new channels
  • Overseeing the company e-newsletter, blogs and content articles (including regular posts, news, etc.) and overall management
  • Overseeing the Group CRM program
  • Managing the brand content on the Group site(s) and working to enhance the site’s ranking on the search engine through SEO – on page and off page optimization & also through link building
  • Evaluate & recommend changes to the website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for targeted keywords.
  • Creating, maintaining, and implementing digital marketing and editorial calendars on a quarterly & an annual basis.
  • Developing a website traffic plan and creating goals and KPIs to meet
  • Delivering effective, cohesive, and engaging brand messaging
  • Managing metrics such as Google Analytics, Data Studio and other advanced web tools
  • Measuring, reporting and recommending on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Driving the ecommerce traffic/conversions through performance marketing and other quantifiable metrics
  • Staying current with new digital marketing venues and using those as part of the overall marketing strategy
  • Executing ongoing digital health checks for Group’s online mediums and conducting an internal audit for our channels on a monthly basis
  • Work closely with the communications team to draft brand marketing calendars in line with business/brand plans and managing budget trackers for ecommerce and digital
  • Compiling monthly reports from various digital marketing efforts, including social media monitoring tool and providing recommendations to enhance future campaigns
  • Handling online PR with external stakeholders
  • Manage and monitor influencer marketing initiatives regionally – based on brand, category and group’s interest
  • Developing important guidelines of each digital medium for internal and external (Brand HQ) circulation to be followed
  • Developing and managing A/B testing protocols and procedures
  • Reporting quarterly the digital performance of the group’s initiatives to the top management
  • Managing a team of website/CMS, digital marketing and CRM executives/AMs

profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing or related streams
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in overall digital marketing & associated fields
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Must have strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics and best practices
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce, PPC, SEO, SEM concepts & performance marketing, and experience in training other team members
  • Experience with a range of analytics, CRM/email automation and A/B testing tools
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a must
  • Must be a team player and a lateral thinker
  • Valid UAE Driving License preferable
