Overview of the role

The L&D Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to training and development programs. This role involves working closely with the respective functional team to ensure that data driven insights inform decision-making and optimize the effectiveness of training initiatives. This involves utilizing various data sources, tools, and methodologies to assess the impact of training programs and provide actionable recommendations. In addition, the L&D data analyst will manage the administrative aspects of the organization’s learning and development programs, ensuring their smooth execution and alignment with business goals. This includes coordinating training schedules, materials, and resources, as well as tracking and analyzing program effectiveness to optimize employee development and performance. The L&D data analyst will act as a primary resource in raising requisitions (PRs) and building reports per business needs.

What you will do

  • Supporting the Operations Manager in analyzing and reporting of data, including training delivery, trainer utilization, program effectiveness and financial reports specific to the operations
  • Produce and manipulate excel tables to an advanced level, with a strong attention to detail
  • Report and analyze all data produced, including the tracking and measurements of deliveries done for all brands
  • Maintain and support L&D processes – including course content updates, confirmation of courses, reports, and user issues
  • Ensure quality management on the data repository, ensuring files follow accurate naming conventions.
  • Maintain weekly Learning records for online and offline users, including attendance monitoring and reporting
  • Raise requisitions, seek approvals, issue LOP and reconcile the invoices within the procurement management system
  • Ensure GRNs and Invoices are reconciled on Ensuring the training plans are updated and office staff are made aware on the seating arrangements, catering is ordered at least a week in advance and training schedule display in updated
  • Addressing queries via face to face or by telephone, maintaining inventories on equipment, ensure office supplies are stocked timely, training materials are ready before the schedule.

Required Skills to be successful

  1. To provide administration, financial and analytical support to Learning & Development Operations Manager.
  2. To ensure that all Financial and Dashboard reports are accurate and prepared in a timely manner with a strong attention to detail.
  3. To ensure that the requisitions (PRs), POs and GRNs are raised and executed in a timely manner aligned with the target completion date for each project.
  4. To ensure the training schedules are updated real-time and all necessary aid for the training is provided.

What equips you for the role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations (Graduate)
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years of Experience within a similar role
  • Job-Specific Skills: Advanced MS Office (Excel), Finance & Operations Management
  • Behavioral Competencies: Proactiveness, communication and ability to work under pressure
