As an Events Coordinator, we rely on you to:
- Handle incoming telephone calls and inquiries independently and proactively.
- Provide support for internal information communications, and distribution, such as floor plan preparation, BEO amendments or special menus requests.
- Assist assigned managers to prepare and distribute all external and internal documents, such as Proposal letter, Letter of Agreement or BEO etc.
- Maintain departmental filing and tracing system for all catering related information and documents such as Menu, Group Files, and proposals.
- Support assigned managers to ensure update information and data are properly recoded in the system, to conduct hotel inspections or walk-in inquiry.
- Handle and consolidate all incoming Post-social/Events Assessments and provide accurate reports and properly loads the results in the intranet.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports to all internal departments such as Weekly Events Summary and 10-day events forecast.
- Attend and provide support to promotion activities such as bridal fair.
- Fully comply with Delphi Operations and fully understand the benefits and essence of “Signature Events”
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience from a 5* hotel
- Communicates and writes with fluency in English (fluency in Arabic is also requisite)
- Always keeps up to date with latest industry trends and market practices
- Is detail-oriented, creative and can drive change
- Has strong interpersonal skills, is friendly, helpful, and trustworthy
- Has foundational selling skills and the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Demonstrates basic proficiency in sales techniques and strategies.
