Description

The ESG Manager will lead the client Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, focusing on sustainability, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role involves managing environmental data, executing resource optimization projects, and driving corporate sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Oversee energy and water reduction projects with TFM contractors.

Environmental Data Management

  • Coordinate and analyse environmental data (energy, water, waste, emissions) across all locations, including overseas offices.
  • Update sustainability models and conversion factors as business evolves.

Sustainability & Governance

  • Develop ESG framework, policies, and plans for all assets and facilities.
  • Manage Environmental, CSR, and Green Building standards, including LEED or equivalent certifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve net zero initiatives and maintain accreditations.
  • Monitor energy consumption and carbon footprint at key locations.
  • Track and manage scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, providing consumption analysis and evidence.
  • Support ESG audits and reporting.
  • Support Partnerships, PR, and communications for ESG initiatives.

Financial Control

  • Assist in preparing and managing budgets for sustainability projects and assets.
  • Track budget vs. actual spending to ensure financial stability.

Vendor & Procurement Management

  • Support RFP and BRD preparation for sustainability projects.
  • Establish sustainable supplier criteria
  • Collaborate with procurement to select vendors with strong sustainability practices.
  • Conduct SWOT analysis for sustainability contracts.

Asset & Facility Operations

  • Work with the FM team to enhance energy efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Monitor utilities usage and propose improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to sustainable design and eco-friendly practices in new projects.
  • Align sustainability practices with local authority goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 Years of Proven experience in ESG management, sustainability initiatives, and project oversight.
  • Knowledge of LEED, green building standards, and ESG frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills.
