Content Translator (Russian or/and Turkish speaker)

As a Content Translator, you will work on the website content and translate it from English to Russian or/and English to Turkish, based on our translation guidelines.

Do you feel comfortable with IT? Not afraid to see some code/html in texts? Are you a languages-lover who wants to take part in the Odoo growth by making our content accessible to our customers? We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a “get it done” spirit. To be successful, you will need solid solving problem skills.

The position is on-site and the person will be employed on our payroll.

Must – HAVE

  • Translator experience of at least 2 years
  • Very good speaking & understanding of English
  • Perfect reading, writing and spoken Turkish or/and Russian
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in languages or equivalent
  • Good command of IT tools
  • Able to work in autonomy


NICE TO HAVE

  • Affinity with the IT world
  • Knowledge of Transifex & GitHub
  • Knowledge of InDesign
  • Adaptability & Flexibility
  • Organisation & Sense of Priority

What will your job look like?

  • You’ll be in charge of translating the website, the documentation and the software, and keep those translations up to date all year round.
  • You’ll follow up on various projects, including the preparation of documents and putting them online, e.g. through GitHub.
  • You’ll be responsible for the proofreading of documents once their layout is done. You might also have to work on the layout from time to time.
  • You’ll support the marketing department in its day to day missions.
