Content and Communications Lead – MENA
Competitive package (60% salary and 40% allowances)
Full time (40 hours per week)
Dubai (flexible and hybrid working)
The role
As the Content and Comms Lead, you will play a significant role in enhancing the visibility, and impact of CIPD in the Middle East and North Africa. You will be developing and executing engaging content and communication strategies that resonate with HR professionals, industry leaders, and stakeholders. You will need to have a clear understanding of the regional HR landscape and a passion for creating meaningful connections through knowledge content and storytelling.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the regionalisation of global content by partnering with HQ teams to adapt and execute communication plans that reinforce strategic regional priorities.
- Crafting creative and innovative ways to share content with key regional audiences, ensuring impactful content delivery.
- Maximising campaign effectiveness by overseeing end-to-end campaign management, from concept and messaging through execution and post-campaign analysis.
- Working with partners to develop regionally relevant research and insights papers to support people professionals in the region.
- Developing compelling and audience-specific content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, event promotions, and member communications.
- Leading the design and execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with CIPD’s regional growth objectives.
- Managing the strategic content calendar to ensure it supports critical milestones, regional events, and key initiatives, enhancing alignment across all products and services.
- Managing and optimising regional social media platforms to strengthen brand presence and create meaningful engagement with HR professionals and key stakeholders.
- Tracking and reporting on digital performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve reach, engagement and impact.
- Increasing engagement with members and other stakeholders by actively managing and optimising the effectiveness of communication channels and campaigns (email, social, WhatsApp).
- Developing regional Member Value Proposition and managing campaigns to promote the value of membership and reflect individual success stories and contributions to the people profession.
- Supporting the promotion of key events, such as conferences, awards ceremonies, and webinars, through targeted content and communications strategies.
- Managing relationships with external agencies and creative partners to deliver engaging materials to reinforce the organisation’s strategic priorities and brand identity.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Significant experience in communications role, within a professional association or membership organisation.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale go-to-market initiatives and multi-channel campaigns.
- Proficiency in content management systems, email marketing platforms and social media management tools.
- Experience using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex HR topics into accessible and engaging content.
- Proven expertise in crafting and executing innovative, targeted campaigns for diverse audiences.
- Experienced in managing agencies, specifically PR and Digital Marketing.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interpret marketing data, extract meaningful insights, and optimise campaigns based on performance metrics.
- Experience in stakeholder management and working within cross-functional teams to drive brand engagement.
- Strong communication skills – Arabic and English languages.
