Channel Development Manager, IXEMEA Partnership Team

Amazon Ads operates at the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of digital display and search advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. We help advertisers reach Amazon customers on Amazon.com, across our owned and operated sites, on other high-quality sites across the web, and on millions of Kindles, tablets, and mobile devices. You will be responsible for accelerating Partner Agencies maturity by growing sales of Amazon Ads and adoption of Amazon Ad Tech in EMEA represented locales.
Amazon Ads is seeking a ‘builder’ who will be responsible for developing and executing a bold and innovative vision that delights our partners by maximizing the return of their marketing investment and helping them grow their businesses. The organization covers all Amazon Ads products, such as Sponsored Ads, Video and STV, Display, Device Advertising and more. Internally, this role will partner closely across a number of teams, including Amazon Consumer, Marketplace, AWS, Twitch, Product, Creative, Ad Tech, and more, across EMEA emerging locales. Externally, they will help grow a diverse landscape of partners across a full range of independent agencies, as well as AdTech and MarTech SaaS provider.
Key job responsibilities
• Build and manage a portfolio of Amazon Ads partners, influencing their tech and GTM strategy
• Close high impact partnerships driving revenue, product adoption and strategic outcomes for Amazon Ads
• Ownership of EMEA emerging locales’ independent partners strategy, with the expectation to set a
vision for a local team.
• Represent Amazon to C-Suite leaders at partner companies and related events
• Excellent collaboration and ability to work cross-functionally across product, tech, sales, legal and finance to drive initiatives and programs
• Drive partnership models’ innovation to address opportunities for enhanced partner growth at scale
• Has an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions
• Help hiring and develop top sales and digital media talent
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
– 5+ years of professional or military experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
– Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
