CAD Operator (Emirati National)

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Inspector-CAD Operator to join our team! In this role you will get to join our construction supervision team related to Roads, Bridges and infrastructure work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, etc., from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
• Utilizes technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies.
• Becomes familiar with various standards and codes such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.
• Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
• Understands how to read orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings.
• Experience in general arrangement of Road/Bridge/Tunnel layout, cross sections, setting out details, traffic signs and road markings ,and temporary traffic management drawings
• Organizes and schedule drawing completions independently.
• Preparing detailed technical drawings as per project requirements with complying with all standards.
• Collaboration and work closely with Engineers, and other team members to ensure drawings align with project requirements and standards
• Review and revise drawings as needed, incorporating feedback and making adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and regulations.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documents for future reference and documentation
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Emirati National
• Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Fresh graduates can be considered.
• Must have experience on the use of computer aided drafting software, such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD etc. Revit Structural experience is a plus.
• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with good capability in oral and written communication skills;
• Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.

• Use web based software to manage the uploading and downloading of document, submittals, drawings, models etc
