Business Development Coordinator
Duties:
• Maintain stocks of marketing collaterals
• Maintain company prequalification with major client prospects
• Handle company interaction with prospective clients’ e-procurement systems
• Maintain Customer Relations Management database using company software
• Maintain database of prospective sub-consultants; interact with subs
• Liaise with and support Head of Communication and directors as regards PR and Communications initiatives in the region
• Monitor media for relevant news on projects and clients, file clippings, and summarize for directors
• Read and understand design consultancy Requests for Proposal, prepare summaries, and assist in the planning of necessary tasks for response
• Interact with sub-consultants to obtain quotes as part of tender preparation
• Assess sub-consultant quotes and assist in preparation of budgets
• Interact with company Contracts Department to obtain review of service agreements
• Assemble Capability Statements using company standard components and formats
• Use InDesign, Word, and other software tools to prepare capability statements, expressions of interest, prequalification submissions and tenders under direction of professional staff
Requirements:
• Intelligent, organized, careful, and thorough
• Fluent in written and spoken English (Arabic a plus)
• Dedicated – willing and able to make extra effort and meet deadlines
• Loyal – maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
• Takes initiative – identifies necessary and useful tasks ahead of instruction
• Willing and able to learn and take on increased responsibility
• Basic understanding of the design consultancy sector (experience preferred)
• Experience in Middle East preferred
