As a Global Utility Business Development Manager you have an instrumental role which helps to bring our Grid Automation portfolio to utility customers especially in distribution to support Grid Automation growth targets. Furthermore you are responsible for driving the global Grid Automation business in the utility segment through working with the regions in determining go-to-market strategies, supporting account planning, assisting in pipeline generation
Your responsibilities
- You work in partnership with the product management and regions to develop, define, manage and execute go-to-market programs.
- You lead Grid Automation account and channel management for key utility accounts.
- You understand the competitive environment and work with regions to position Grid Automation offerings for success
- You work with regional teams in account planning and driving focus on key customers and targeted opportunities.
- You collaborate with marketing and regions to define pipeline generation initiatives to position Grid Automation for long term growth.
- You monitor and report on program, pipeline, sales orders and key performance measures.
- You establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel.
- You support Product management in portfolio management for the utility segment.
Your background
- Bachelor´s degree and 10+ years of work experience in Distribution.
- Experience providing or using digital solutions for utility applications.
- Account sales or product management experience preferred.
- Advanced leadership skills. Resolves critical issues and contributes to organizational.

- Self-starter with excellent time management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
