Billing Supervisor

Regular Responsibilities Include:  

  •  Coordinating all invoicing support for programs in Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East
  •  Maintaining billing processes across PAE to ensure compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and controls
  •   Ensuring consistent and reliable billing practices across all projects and programs
  •  Providing leadership, guidance, and training directions for the Dubai billing department
  •   Day-to-day management of Invoice Support Analysts, tasks, assignments, and backlog
  •  Transition activities for billing functions not currently processed in the Dubai hub
  •  Assisting in hiring, training and retaining all required personnel
  •  Ensuring that process/procedures, and data is updated and maintained accordingly
  •  Preparing billing metrics
  •  Performing periodic audit of process/procedures for continuous improvement and cost reduction
  •  Liaising with program sites and headquarters in USA; and with customers as needed
  •  Ensuring quality of output produced by the billing staff; and ensuring that all programs’ billing goals and objectives are met
  •  Manage Costpoint billing module for programs supported by Dubai

Education and Certification Requirements:

  •  Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
  •  Must have at least 5 years accounting experience, Financial Analysis, Financial Statements Accounts reconciliations and Billing or similar role. Can be a combined role so long as 5 years’ experience in each or able to demonstrate and show experience through combination of education and experience.
  •  Prior experience liaising with external vendors and supporting internal program/contracts is highly desirable.
  •  Costpoint experience required. MS Office – Word, Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint required.
  •  2 Years government contracting experience preferred.
  • Must have good work ethic and be available to work on occasional nights and weekends, if necessary, to accommodate operational needs.
  •  Knowledge of accounting procedures and practices. Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills which include the ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
  •  Must possess effective oral and written communication skills.
  •  Proven efficiency in current office computer software and equipment.
  •  Excellent attention to details and accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Requirements:

 Language Skills:  

  • Exceptional English skills, both written and oral.

Mathematical Skills:  

  • Advanced Math Skills (University level).

Reasoning Abilities:  

  •  Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts and propose solutions.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.    

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Have strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Word
  • Have strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Have the ability to work through problems to completion
  •  Be able to follow and accurately document processes and procedures
  •  Have strong analytical skills
  •  Be very detail oriented
  •  Have experience with Microsoft Dynamics; Cost Point experience is a plus
