Position Summary

Responsible for planning, designing, drafting, and executing internal communication strategies and campaigns in order to improve awareness and transparency. Plays a key role in fostering a positive company culture by planning and executing employee engagement activities

Role and Responsibilities

Engagement:

  • Conducting spot polls, surveys, and focus groups to gauge employee perception of proposed improvements and to gather general feedback; creating and proposing action plans.
  • Planning, organizing, and executing regular engagement activities/initiatives based on HR Social calendar/strategy (e.g. games tournaments, cultural holiday celebrations, wellness campaigns, etc.).
  • Coordinating with individual departments and external vendors to plan and execute periodic retreats and outings.
  • Coordinating with individual departments to execute employee recognition initiatives.
  • Plan and execute targeted improvement initiatives with support from HR Business Partner
  • In coordination with HR Business Partners, conducting awareness sessions on various topics.
  • Planning, organizing, and executing company-wide events (e.g. Iftar, Family Day, etc.).
  • Creating designs and coordinating with external vendors to improve the visual appeal of the office space.
  • In accordance with the activity plan, transforming our common areas into festive and engaging spaces via decorations, activities, themes, etc.
  • Providing administrative support to related to the planning and execution of events (e.g. raising approvals, financial claims, vendor sourcing and coordination, etc.)

Communications:

  • Designing visually pleasing educational flyers and announcements to improve transparency and employee awareness.
  • Creating post-event content for use internally and externally for employer branding.
  • Drafting general employee announcements related to the People Team.
  • Collecting content for, drafting, and publishing a periodic employee newsletter.
  • Creating standard visual templates for employee announcements, presentation files, policies, etc.
  • Creating engaging or informational content to display on screens within the building.
  • Creating guides, manuals, and other educational materials, in digital, physical, and video formats.

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in internal communications
  • Knowledge in creating visual and appealing materials in various formats
  • Strong communication skills (spoken & written)
  • Strong proficiency in Canva, MS Office (PPT, Excel, Word), video editing tools, Adobe products
  • Preferably Arabic speaking
