Accountant

Zapegg Tax Consultant is dedicated to offering expert financial and tax advisory services that support business growth and compliance. We are currently looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger entries regularly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT and other tax returns.
• Liaise with auditors and support audit processes.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify variances and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a consulting or tax-related environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and tax compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
