Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, coordinating with insurance companies, and ensuring clear communication with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of repair work required.
- Prepare clear and accurate repair estimates in a timely manner.
- Obtain customer approval for repair work.
- Coordinate and negotiate repair costs with insurance companies.
- Communicate vehicle status updates to customers throughout the repair process.
- Capture and manage photographs of vehicle damage for documentation.
- Follow up on Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and pending parts.
- Send emails, photos, and scanned documents to insurance representatives as required.
- Notify insurance surveyors once the estimate is completed and arrange for vehicle surveying.
- Inform Service Advisors of any issues requiring attention such as license status, missing police reports, or pending insurance approvals.
- Distribute service requests to the Job Controller and Service Advisors after receiving LPOs.
- Ensure that completed job files, including LPOs, are handed over to the appropriate Service Advisor.
- Perform additional administrative and support tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or completed courses related to customer service.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service role (preferably within an automotive dealership or agency).
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Professional appearance with a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Responsible, organized, and reliable.
