Contracts and Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Contracts and Procurement Manager with 18 years of expertise in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the procurement and contracts team for oil & gas operations.
  • Oversee the development, negotiation, and execution of contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies in procurement processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement costs and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or contract terms.
  • Provide guidance on contract management and procurement best practices.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct supplier evaluations to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
  • Report on procurement activities, contract performance, and project progress to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 18 years of experience in contracts and procurement management within the oil and gas sector.
  • Significant experience with gas processing projects.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Professional certifications in procurement or contracts management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
