Landside Execution Agent

Responsible for ensuring dispatching freight orders from booking systems to vendors for all landside transport on truck and rail. Liaising and preparing transport plan with vendors. Optimizing costs e.g., through triangulation whilst driving better than market customer experience through punctual deliveries

Responsible for:

•Manage daily dispatch and logistics execution by ensuring smooth operation / service delivery of client needs by keeping a close track on the service providers and ensuring On Time In Full Delivery (OTIF).
•Ensure local supply chain procedures are in line with global SOP

•Maintain daily operation communication with internal and external customers, including freight order validation, acceptance and execution.

Review weekly and monthly client schedules and demand forecasts to estimate peak and delivery timings

•Manage the performance of the distribution and transport service providers to achieve best in class levels of on time in full delivery while ensuring quality standards are met.
•Regular and timely system updates.
•Exception Management with decisive corrective progress actions while proactively managing any changes and contingencies.
•Coordinate and collaborate with customer facing agents to quickly respond to planning amendment, equipment breakdowns or other arising issues
•Proactively coordinate with vendor management team to ensure we have loading capacity to support loading plans.
•Legal compliance related to Customs regulations and AEO obligations
•Assure the accomplishment of vendor onboarding, proactive support and end-to-end issue resolution
•Develop and execute cost savings plans together with procurement to deliver the most attractive cost profile while maintaining excellent standards of safety and reliability.

Build strong and collaborative relationships with both established and new suppliers

•3-5 years of experience preferred in Shipping & Logistics.
