With a focus on innovative teaching methods, the Academic Faculty drives excellence in teaching, leveraging learning through pedagogical innovations. He/She collaborates closely with colleagues, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and outstanding communication skills, all rooted in hospitality domain expertise.

Education and Professional Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in a field relevant to Hospitality. Applicants without a PhD will not be considered for these roles.
  • Significant experience working in the hospitality industry would also be highly regarded.

Experience:

  • Teaching: A minimum of 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the university level, with a demonstrated record of teaching excellence. This includes experience designing and teaching a variety of hospitality or business courses, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development.
  • Research: A strong record of research productivity, including publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at conferences, and potentially external funding. Evidence of a sustained and impactful research program is crucial.
  • Service: Active participation in university service, professional organizations, and/or community engagement. This demonstrates a commitment to the broader academic community and the profession.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with technology and awareness of the latest trends in hospitality business and education.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic language, a plus).
  • IT literate.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in working in a multicultural environment.
