Job description
Overview of the role
To be expert in assessing store capacity and optimal replenishment solution for the stores in the market. To balance commercial and supply needs and opportunities with store capacity and support the optimal use of available store capacity, resulting in the highest level of customer perceived availability at the lowest possible costs and support long term profitability. To link the retail market with global supply logistics strategies to secure end to end approach I the execution of the logistics processes
What you will do
- Responsible for assessing current and planned fulfilment unit capacity on the market in terms of short, mid and long-term needs and identify solutions in order to enable securing agreed goals on availability and keeping lead time promise at the lowest possible cost.
- Identify gaps between existing and needed capacities and provide the Country Management team with suggested solutions to manage imbalances.
- Responsible for developing local improvements in working methods, systems and tools and for implementing global routines, systems solutions and ways of working with all partners in the Supply Chain, Retail and Customer Fulfilment on the market, in close cooperation and co-creation with the Group Flow and Capacity Planning to secure continuous improvement.
- Together with CFF partners Secure the optimal range location in the fulfilment units to lowest cost and while keeping availability and lead-time promise
- Support expansion team with timely and efficient replenishment for new or rebuilding stores in co-operation with supply chain partners
- Providing Supply Chain partners with information on the retail capacities as input to the development of new logistics offers. (DORS)
- Use store capacity information to define which logistics offers can be implemented in which stores and finalize replenishment set-up with Supply partners (lead times, start date) Optimize supply solutions according to expected sold volumes.
- Together with supply partners monitor LT performance and in case of devotion initiate action ( OTD)
- Use information on capacity development on store level, sales forecast development and/or performance feedback from the Supply Chain Partners as input to the reviews of the solutions. Find alternative suppliers for the restricted suppliers to secure stability in availability .
- Secure alternative supply in case of any constrains in existing distribution set up
- Analyze purchase cost vs distribution set up to secure availability at the lowest possible costs (secure margin)
Required skills to be successful
- Excellent skills in retail and/or logistics processes, tools and working methods.
- Analytical skills with the ability to identify required business actions
- Good skills in supporting an efficient and cost-effective commercial performance.
- Good numerical skills.

- Experience of working in Retail and/or logistic role, including previous experience of leading others
- Show potential to apply tactical and operational thinking
- Ability to meet agreed budget and goals
- Ability to reflect and find value and ideas in collaboration with others
- 1-2 years’experience in the area of expertise (additional supply chain experience is a plus)
- Confident and clear communication on English both written and verbal
- Excellent computer skills and high proficiency on Microsoft Office
- Proven analytical and numeric skills and ability to identify required actions
