Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Facilities Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to Performs more difficult and/or complex facilities maintenance assignments within a building complex. Performs a variety of routine facilities maintenance assignments within a building complex.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing and performing routine maintenance task, such as HVAC systems, plumbing repairs, electrical maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Coordinating the allocation and setup of office spaces, meeting rooms and common areas ensuring optimal space utilization.
  • Keeping track of inventory for supplies, equipment and furniture and replenishing as necessary to support smooth operations.
  • Monitoring and implementing health and safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and addressing potential hazards promptly.
  • Collaborating with external vendors for maintenance services, repair and procurement of facility-related items.
  • Enforce building rules and safety policies with all building occupants, suppliers and subcontractors.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in facility maintenance, repairs and equipment operation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve various facility-related issues efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, resources and tasks effectively.
  • Clear communication skills for coordinating with team members, vendors and addressing any facility-related concerns.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in managing-related projects such as renovations or expansions.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate a small team of support staff if necessary.
  • Familiar with budget tracking and cost-effective solutions for facility needs
  • Understanding of sustainability practices and energy-efficient initiative in facility management.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general building trades skills, the ability to read simple blueprints, design using AutoCAD as well as a willingness and ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies is required.

Education Qualification and Experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical or MEP.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facility management, maintenance and operations.
