Job Purpose:
The Expeditor/ buyer role will be responsible for overseeing the timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment for the BP_ROO_EPCM project in Abu Dhabi. They will work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that all items are procured, delivered, and managed according to project timelines and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor and track the status of orders to prevent delays and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries.
  • Communicate with internal teams to provide updates on procurement status.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Provide regular reports on procurement activities to project management.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee material handling and delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and managers to align procurement activities with project milestones.
  • Manage expediting schedules and prioritize urgent deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with project quality and safety standards in all procurement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in expediting, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Experience working on FEED, Design, onshore projects, and brownfield operations.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
