Henkel’s story begins in 1876 with a twenty-eight-year-old merchant who was interested in science: Fritz Henkel. On September 26, 1876, Fritz and two partners founded the company Henkel & Cie in Aachen, Germany and marketed their first product, a universal detergent based on silicate. YOUR ROLE
- Working closely with the manager or assigned staff member and completing all allocated tasks.
- Updating sales records and documents Conducting market research and identifying business opportunities.
- Generating sales leads and making cold calls Attending and participating in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions.
- Liaising with clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of the company’s managers.
- Reviewing sales performance against sales targets and observing and carrying out sales processes.
- Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
- Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.
YOUR SKILLS
- University Degree in Business Administration, (Management, Marketing, Sales). Engineering can be a plus.
- Strong self-motivation.
- Proficiency in English, (Arabic can be a plus).
- Ability to cope with rejection.
- Proficiency in Excell, PowerPoint and Microsoft office.
