Overview

Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group’s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Responsibilities

The Executive will be responsible for providing first-level support for our cloud-based systems and infrastructure.

This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to cloud services, ensuring optimal performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor Cloud Infrastructure:

Proactively monitor and analyse the performance of cloud services to identify and address potential issues.

Respond to alerts and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

Investigate and diagnose issues related to cloud services and infrastructure.

Collaborate with L2/L3 support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.

User Support:

Provide first-level support to end-users, addressing inquiries and issues related to cloud services.

Assist users with access, permissions, and basic troubleshooting of cloud applications.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

Create knowledge base articles and contribute to the development of internal documentation.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and network engineers, to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.

Participate in regular meetings and communicate effectively with team members.

Service Request Implementation:

Implement and manage service requests related to cloud infrastructure provisioning, modification, and decommissioning.

Collaborate with users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure service requests are fulfilled within established timelines.

ITSM Processes:

Actively participate in IT Service Management processes, including incident management, change management, and problem management.

Ensure adherence to ITSM policies and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or relevant IT field.
  2. Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud, G42
  3. Should have Certifications relevant to at least 2 cloud platforms AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, HCIA, HCIP
  4. 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on cloud technologies.
  5. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  7. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
