About the role:
At Amazon, we believe every day is still day one. Today is that day for you. We are looking for an exceptionally talented, bright and driven person to join our Human Resources team.

A core part of your responsibilities will be taking care and addressing associate queries, placing engagement with associates as your primary focus within our location. As an integral part of the HR team, you will deliver the highest quality of service to our internal and external customers; ensuring associates are supported through effective query handling and problem solving, followed closely by a high level of process understanding and administrative support.

Key job responsibilities

  • Data entry in a variety of systems including Excel files, PeopleSoft, and other miscellaneous reports
  • Being first contact for employees regarding attendance and various HR queries
  • Monitoring attendance
  • Entering sick notes, vacation, absences and night shift on system and communicate entries to payroll team
  • Monitoring absences in cooperation with Area Managers
  • Assist employees and help with their queries
  • Create variety of reports

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent knowledge of English language
  • Previous experience in HR field – Must have Microsoft Excel experience, (vlookup, hlookup and validation related formulas)
  • Must have administrative experience such as data entry, managing data driven report processes or detailed processes that have a lot of components to manage

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree
  • Must adhere to confidentiality expectations
  • Ability to work up to ten hour shifts including overtime (days and nights – rotation)
  • Must have the ability to multi task and manage details of different processes efficiently
