Job description:
Role and responsibilities or main accountabilities
- Research, plan, propose reference design and system
- Assist in conceptual design proposal. Prepare design and layout that explains concept and basic functional characteristics of the system
- Create CAD drawing, Collaborate with fellow designers and engineering.
- Ensure output meets technical requirement and local work instructions and is delivered within deadlines
- Contribute in transfer of knowledge and best practices within designer team.
- Report work status in timely manner and adhere to BPMS and HSE guidelines
Reporting: Geomarket Eng. MGR(SI, ME) LOF ＆ Quo Eng.
Location: Abu Dhabi
You are meant for this job if:
- Minimum 5 years drafting experience.
- GCE “A” level, ITE, or Diploma – Mechanical/Production Engineering with related work experience in mechanical drafting
- Minimum 5-year experience in CAD software (MicroStation and Unigraphics preferred).
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Demonstrate effective internal communication skills.
- Able to work independently, organized and multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment with focus on meeting tight deadlines
